Spanish Masala Synopsis

Director Lal Jose’s new film Spanish Masala is a love story between two completely mismatched people i.e a Malayali boy (Charlie) falling in love with a Spanish girl (Kamila) . After Arabikatha, Lal Jose is introducing another foreign heroine in Spanish Masala, Daniela Zacheri. She is a trained hip-hop dancer from Austria. Dilip Plays the male character Charlie.

Charlie who comes to Spain in connection with a Mimicry programme is unable to return to his country. He begins his quest to find a job and his talent in cooking gets him the job of a chef for the Spanish Ambassador belonging to a royal family in Spain . There he meets the ambassador`s daughter Kamila. For her India is a nostalgic memory. Charlie falls in love with her.

Apart from the lead characters an interesting casting line up is another feature of the film are Kunchako Boban, Biju Menon, Clement, Javiour Chris Nobes, Gopalan, Nelson, Vinaya Prasad and Kalaranjin.

Mostly shot in Spain and Kerala, the film Spanish Masala produces Noushad under the banner Big Screen. The screenplay is by Benny P. Nayarambalam and Vidyasagar has tuned songs to the lyrics written by R Venugopal.
