The winners of the prestigious Kerala State Film Awards 2017 announced by Cultural minister A K Balan today at Thiruvananthapuram. 110 movies were lined up for the awards this year, out of which 6 were children's films.Indrans has bagged the best actor award for his performances in Aalorukkam'. Parvathy has won best actress award for her performances in 'Take Off' which was well accepted by the audience. Clint: A brief but extraordinary life!
Three decades from his demise, the life of child prodigy, Edmund Thomas Clint, will be soon made a movie. Edmund Thomas Clint who died at an age of six in 1983 has been an exceptional talent who created 25000 paintings on various subjects.
The project is being helmed by veteran director Harikumar, who has directed films like Sukrutham, Ayanam and Udyanapalakan will focus on this exception talent, who despite his created art that depicted intense themes like death, solitude, and love.
Harikumar's film will also focus on Clint's parents who are still hoping of their child's return.
