The winners of the prestigious Kerala State Film Awards 2017 announced by
Cultural minister A K Balan today at Thiruvananthapuram. 110 movies were lined
up for the awards this year, out of which 6 were children's films.Indrans
has bagged the best actor award for his performances in Aalorukkam'. Parvathy
has won best actress award for her performances in 'Take Off' which was well
accepted by the audience. Rahul Riji Nair's 'Ottamuri Velicham' by has been
awarded as the best film in 2017 and Lijo Josep Pelliserry has won the Best
Director award for 'Ee Ma Au', which is yet to have a commercial theatrical
release.
