1983 എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിനു ശേഷം എബ്രിഡ്‌ ഷൈൻ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത ചിത്രമാണ്‌ ആക്ഷ൯ ഹീറോ ബിജു.

ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ പേരു കേട്ടാൽ ഇതൊരു ആക്ഷ൯ സിനിമയാണോ, കോമഡി ആണോ എന്ന് സംശയം തോന്നാം. എന്നാൽ പൂർണമായും ഒരു പോലീസ് ചിത്രമായ ഈ സിനിമയിൽ ആക്ഷ൯, കോമഡി, വൈകാരികത, പ്രതീക്ഷ എന്നിങ്ങനെ ഒരുപാട് ഭാവങ്ങൾ ഉൾക്കൊള്ളിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.

ബിജു പൗലോസ് എന്ന നായക കഥാപാത്രത്തെ നിവിൻ പോളി മനോഹരമായി അവതരിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. വളരെ നല്ല തിരക്കഥകൾ മാത്രം തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു അഭിനയിക്കുന്ന ഒരു നടനാണ്‌ നിവിൻ പോളി . അങ്ങിനെയുള്ള ഒരു നടൻ അഭിനയിക്കുകയും ചിത്രനിർമ്മാണം ചെയ്യുകയും ആവുമ്പോൾ, ചിന്തിച്ചാൽ തന്നെ മനസ്സിലാകും ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ തിരക്കഥയുടെ മികവ്. ഈ സിനിമയ്ക്കു വേണ്ടി നിവിൻ ശാരീരികമായി ഒരുപാടു മാറ്റങ്ങൾ വരുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.

നേരും നെറിയുമുള്ള ഒരു പോലീസുകാരന്റെ ജീവിതത്തിൽ നേരിടെണ്ടിവരുന്ന സന്ദർഭങ്ങൾ വളരെ യാഥാർത്ഥ്യമായി സംവിധായകൻ ചിത്രീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട് . അതിനുവേണ്ടി ആയിരിക്കാം പശ്ചാത്തല സംഗീതം വളരെ കുറവെ സിനിമയിൽ ഉപയോഗിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളൂ.

നായക കഥാപാത്രമായ ബിജു പൗലോസിന്റെ ഔദ്യോഗിക ജീവിതത്തിലെ എതാനും ദിവസങ്ങളാണ് ഈ സിനിമയുടെ പ്രമേയം. ഓരോ ദിവസവും സബ് ഇൻസ്പെക്ടറായ ബിജു കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യുന്ന ഓരോ കേസിലും വളരെ നിർണായകമായ ഒരുപാട് കഥകളുണ്ട്. നീതിക്കു വേണ്ടി പോലീസിനെ സമീപിക്കുന്നവരുടെ വിശ്വാസം കാത്തു സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്ന ഒരു പോലീസുകാരനാണ് നായക കഥാപാത്രം.

*സ്ത്രീകളിൽ ഇന്നത്തെ കാലത്ത് കാണുന്ന കുറ്റകൃത്യങ്ങൾ മുതൽ കാശു വെച്ചുള്ള ചീട്ടുകളി വരെ ഈ സിനിമയിൽ എടുത്തു കാണിക്കുന്നുണ്ട് .

'Truth is stranger than fiction' എന്ന quote ഈ സിനിമയിലെ പല സന്ദർഭങ്ങളിലും നമുക്ക് മനസ്സിലാക്കാൻ കഴിയും. സംവിധായകനായ എബ്രിഡ്‌ ഷൈനും, മുഹമ്മദ്‌ ഷഫീക്കും ചേർന്നാണ് ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ തിരക്കഥ ഒരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നത്.

പുതുമുഖ നടിയായ ആനു ഇമ്മാനുവേൽ ആണ് സിനിമയിലെ നായിക. ആനു ഇമ്മാനുവേലിനു പുറമെ ജൂഡ് ആന്റണി ജോസഫ്, കലാഭവൻ പ്രജോദ്, സൈജുകുറുപ്പ്, മേജർ രവി‍, സുരാജ് വെഞ്ഞാറമൂഡ്എന്നിവരും വളരെ മികച്ച പ്രകടനം കാഴ്ച വച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.

ചിത്രത്തിൽ എടുത്തു പറയേണ്ടത് കാസ്റ്റിങ്ങ് ആണ്. വളരെ ചെറിയ വേഷം ആണെങ്കിലും അതിനു അനുയോജ്യരായ നടീനടന്മാരെ കൊണ്ട് തന്നെ ആ കഥാപാത്രങ്ങൾക്ക് ജീവൻ കൊടുത്തത് കൊണ്ടായിരിക്കാം ഈ സിനിമ പല ജീവിതങ്ങളുടെയും നേർക്കാഴ്ചായി അനുഭവപ്പെടുന്നത്.

വളരെ കുറച്ചു നേരം ദൈർഘ്യമുള്ള ഒരു കഥാപാത്രത്തെയാണ് സുരാജ് വെഞ്ഞാറമൂഡ് ഈ ചിത്രത്തിൽ കൈ കാര്യം ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ളത്. എന്നാൽ തന്റെ അഭിനയ ജീവിതത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച പ്രകടനമാണ്‌ സുരാജ് ഈ സിനിമയിൽ കാഴ്ച വച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.

ജെറി അമൽദേവാണ് ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഗാനങ്ങൾക്കു ഈണം പകർന്നിരിക്കുന്നത്. യേശുദാസും വാണി ജയറാമും ചേർന്നു പാടിയ 'പൂക്കൾ പനിനീർ പൂക്കൾ 'എന്ന ഗാനം ഇതിനോടകം വളരെ ജനശ്രദ്ധ ആകർഷിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞു.

കുടുംബ പ്രേക്ഷകർക്കും മറ്റു സിനിമാസ്വാദകർക്കും ഒരുപോലെ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു ചിത്രമാണ് ഇത്.

ഒരുപാട് ഗുണപാഠങ്ങൾ അടങ്ങിയ ഈ ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ അവസാന നിമിഷം വരെ ഒരു പോലീസുകാരന്റെ ജീവിതം എത്രമാത്രം കഷ്ടപ്പാടുകളും ഉത്തരവാദിത്വങ്ങളും നിറഞ്ഞതാണെന്നു നമുക്ക് കാണിച്ചു തരുന്നുണ്ട്.

‘Poomaram’, Kalidas Jayaram’s Malayalam debut as hero releases today, March 15
