Illuminato Films in association with Kaithakkatu Visual Media presents “Nayakan” - an action thriller.
Shot extensively in Malaysia and in various parts of Kerala, this high-octane, heart-thumping thriller marks a turning-point in the career of the multi-faceted Indrajit. In a venture that boldly seeks to redefine machismo, the habitat of the virile, the alpha-male. Leading man Indrajit stamps his presence with authority. The multi-talented artiste is also the playback voice behind the title track.
Siddique adds new shades to villainy as the suave Don, possibly the most potent negative role from this versatile actor.
Dhanya Mary Varghese, who won critical acclaim for her role in “Thalappaavu”, is the leading lady. The star cast boasts thespian par compare Thilakan with premier talents of the likes of Jagathy Sreekumar, Vijay Raghavan, Lalu Alex, Sreejith Ravi, Anil Murali and Kalashala Babu.
Lijo Jose Pallissery, ad-film maker of note, and who made a name for himself by winning the Sony Pictures award for his short film “Three”, makes his big screen debut with “Nayakan”.
P.S Rafeeq owns the screenplay. Techno-wizards Manoj Paramahamsa (of Vinnaithandi Varuvaya fame) handles cinematography. Prashant Pillai sets tune to some great lyrics by Sachchidanandan Puzhangara.
