Jawan of Vellimala Synopsis

Jawan of Vellimala is an upcoming Malayalam film directed by debutant Anoop Kannan.

The story of Jawan of Vellimala revolves around a high-range village called Vellimala , a dam in this village and the people living there. The villagers of Vellimala consider the dam as a sign of their pride. Gopi Krishan , the central character, who took voluntary retirement from military service, reaches Vellimala as a labourer. Varghese is a government employee at the Dam site and Koshi Oommen, another character reaches there for some personal need. These three play the main three male characters in the film. The story reveals the incidents happenning when these characters and the villagers meet together.

The male lead character is played by Mammootty and the female lead character is played by Mamta Mohandas. The other important supporting actors are Sreenivasan and Asif Ali.

Satheesh Kurup is doing the cinematography of the film which is scripted by James Albert The background score and soundtrack is composed by Music director, Bijibal. Sameera Sanish is in charge of costumes and Prashanth Madhav heads the arts department.
