Actress Surbhi and Seerat Kapoor are set to team up with actor
Allu Sirish in his upcoming yet-untitled Telugu science-fiction thriller, a
source in the know said.
'Surbhi has already been signed. Seerat, on the other
hand, is yet to officially sign it because she is trying to adjust dates. But
she is most likely to come on board because she is very excited about the project
and has even given verbal nod,' a source from the film's unit told IANS.
To be directed by Vi Anand, the project's regular shooting
is expected to begin later this month. The film also stars Srinivas Avasarla
in a pivotal role.
It was the script that immediately earned Sirish's nod.
'Sirish is also a huge fan of science-fiction. He's been
waiting to work in this genre in a truly futuristic script. When he heard the
narration, he jumped at the opportunity. He even wanted to start work right
away but due to his Malayalam film he had to push the shoot,' the source
said.
In his Malayalam debut '1971: Beyond Borders', Sirish
plays a tank commander and he shares screen space with Mohanlal.
Mani Sharma has been roped in to compose music for Anand's
project, while the rest of the cast and crew are in the process of being finalised.
The film will be bankrolled by Chakri Chigurupati.
