Ann Augustine makes a comeback as Anson's heroine in Solo

It’s been about two years since we saw Ann Augustine
in a movie, but now the star is back to Malayalam Industry for the Dulquer Salmaan's
upcoming Malayalam-Tamil bilingual 'Solo', directed by Bejoy Nambiar. Ann will
play the love interest of the character played by Anson Paul. In 'Solo', she
plays one of the five prominent female roles and has started shooting for the
film. According to reports, the crew has finished the first schedule, and have
shot in locations like Athirapally and Edakochi.
Ann Augustine was on a break from movies after tying the knot with popular
cinematographer Jomon T John. She made her acting debut with the 2010 film "Elsamma
Enna Aankutty", where she was lauded for her effortless portrayal of a
smart, efficient and gutsy young girl in the film. She has also won the Kerala
State Film Award for Best actress for her performance in Director Symaprasad's
'Artist'. The actress was last seen in 'Nee-Na' opposite Vijay Babu directed
by her mentor Lal Jose.
