The makers of upcoming Tamil action-comedy "Thirudan Police" have launched a mobile application, which will allow the user to replace his or her face with that of the lead cast of the film.

The face app has been launched in association with Mobi2Fun Mobile Entertainment Pvt Ltd.

"'Thirudan Police' face app is a fun app for your entertainment. It can redefine your style statement by allowing you to replace your face with a celebrity as in a hero or heroine from the film," read a statement from the makers.

"Capture your photo (or select from gallery) and place the image on the selective frames within the app. The photo gets stitched to the frame giving you a realistic image with you as the person behind the scene," the statement added.

The "Thirudan Police" face app, which is available Google Play, allows users to share the images on social networking platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.

Directed by debutant Caarthick Raju, "Thirudan Police" features Dinesh and Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead roles.
