Director Magizh Thirumeni, who has teamed up with Arya in upcoming Tamil actioner "Meegaamann", believes he is a naturally intelligent actor who can understand the requirement of a story and deliver more than expected.

"I think Arya is one of the few intelligent actors in the industry. He's naturally an intelligent person who's capable of understanding the nuances of cinema. He can easily understand the requirement of a story and deliver more than what's expected of him," Magizh told IANS.

"He has given me a sort of performance in 'Meegaamann' I was completely stunned with. It's the kind of performance we've not seen from him so far in his career. It's very realistic and stylish," he said.

Arya is a one of the top actors in the industry, but Magizh says he finds him extremely "genuine".

"He's not only intelligent, but also a fine person to work with. He's very genuine and never tries to be pretentious or fake," he added.

"Meegaamanna, which also features Hansika Motwani in the lead, is a realistic action film that features Arya in a very stylish role.

"Arya will surprise audiences with his stylish character in the film," said Magizh, who is currently busy with the post-production work.
