Within two days of its release, the trailer of Tamil film "Neethaane En Ponvasantham" Monday evening crossed half million hits on YouTube, breaking the record previously held by Ajith Kumar-starrer "Billa 2".

The trailer was launched Saturday night along with the film's audio release here, amidst hundreds of fans and leading personalities from film fraternity.

"Neethaane En Ponvasantham (You are My Golden Spring)", is a romantic film directed by Gautham Menon, whose earlier films such as "Minnale", "Vaaranam Aayiram", "Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya" and "Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu" are considered super-hits.

Jiiva and Samantha are playing the lead in Tamil version of the film. Music is composed by Isaignani Illayaraja. The venture is jointly produced by Gautham's Photon Kathaas and RS Infotainment.
