Malayalam director Major Ravi, famed for making movies with patriotism and military background as the main theme has announced the shooting dates of his upcoming film.

The film maker has scheduled Chingam 1st (August 17) to Kick start his films shoot. The movie’s shoot, starting off on the auspicious day of the Chingam 1st, the beginning of the New Year (Andu Pirappu) according to the Malayalam calendar will star Mohanlal the Superstar of Malayalam Film Industry in the lead role.

The film will be shooting its foremost portions with Mohanlal and few supporting actors in Mumbai for the first few days. The cast and crew are all set to mark the beginning of the film on Chingam 1st. Biju Menon, Kalinga Sasi, Asha Sarath, Rajeev Pillai, Bineesh Kodiyeri, Aishwarya Devan, and new face Malavika appears in important roles.
