'Bhindi Bazaar.Inc' release postponed to May 20

New Delhi, March 30

Britain-based Indian producer Karan Arora has shifted the release of his debut movie "Bhindi Bazaar.Inc" from April 15 to May 20 to avoid a clash with multiple releases.

"This is purely a strategic decision - we want to release the movie on a correct day. On April 15 a lot of films are releasing and we didn't want to be amongst the crowd," Arora said in a press statement.

Bhavna Talwar's "Happi", Vikram Bhatt's "Haunted" and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's "Teen Thay Bhai" are releasing April 15.

"Bhindi Bazaar.Inc" is about pickpocketing, an art which is a means to earn livelihood for many in Mumbai. The movie is directed by Ankush Bhatta and features Kay Kay Menon, Deepti Naval, Prashant Narayan and Shilpa Shukla.

The movie also has an item number by international pop star Jeniffer Lopez' cousin Caterina.
