In Rajiv Rai's murder mystery 'Gupt' (1997), Kajol's criminal character Isha opposite Bobby Deol was well appreciated. She delivered her role as a murderer brilliantly. The film was one of the highest grosser that year and Kajol was the the first woman to win the Filmfare Best Villain Award in 1998.
