Kanakanmani Synopsis

After the Block buster movie `Veruthe oru Bharya, the trio of Akku Akbar, K Gireesh Kumar and Jayaram are teaming up for a new movie titled " Kana Kanmani". The first phase of the shooting has been completed at Kuttikanam and started the second phase in Kochi.

In Kana Kanmani, Jayaram and Padmapriya play the lead role. Based on a complete family story, the movie portraits the life of a couple who belongs to two different caste. Here Jayaram Plays the role of an Engineer Roy and his wife is Maya (Padma Priya). Their Romance doesn’t fade its sheen even after years of their love marriage. Having a six year old child has not changed anything in their relationship. But rarely the caste issue which is hidden inside, will arise in between them and then their daughter Anagha( Baby Nivedhitha) becomes the conciliator. Through humorous as well as heart touching scenes, the movie tries to narrate the value of blood relation.

Biju Menon, Vijaya Raghavan, Nedumudi Venu, Suraj Venjaramood, Roseline. Rashmi Boban and others support the leading roles. The film has been scripted by K Gireesh Kumar and Vipin Mohan handles the Camera. Shyam dharman sets the tunes for Vayalar Sharatchandra Varma`s Lyrics. Under the banner of Ann Media, Moser Baer and Teena Anto together produce the film and is being distributed by Mammootty’s Play House.
