Kappiri Thuruthu is new malayalammovie directed by famous Drama-writer & singer Saheer Ali. Film is based up on vintage Kochi & Kochi's famous singer "Mehboob". Film also portrays unknown faces of Kochi. Adhil Ibrahim & Pearle Maaney are playing lead roles in the film.Sidhique is also playing an important role in the film. Ahammed Paalaparambil , Avaru Kottakkal & Aboobacker Edappilly are producing the film under the banner twenty twenty films. Music is done Raffeq Yusaf & Madhu Paul.
Plot Outline

The film plot is based upon old Kochi & Kochi's famous singer Mehboob. Film also covers the life of Urudhu Poet Mirzakhalibi and his gazal's .Old Kochi's harbour smuggling is also portrayed in the film.
