Singer Meghna Mishra says she is thankful to superstar Aamir Khan for
believing in her and for investing his time on her.
The 16-year-old
singer, who lent her voice for songs in the film "Secret Superstar", lost out on
a reality TV show at an age of 11. She didn't give up and worked hard on her
skill, ultimately winning praise for her work in the film, which was backed by
Aamir.
"It was difficult for me when I was not selected but I opted to
work on my craft," Mishra said in a statement.
"It has been quite a
journey and today when I look back at it -- from being rejected to have done
'Secret Superstar'... It feels surreal with me wanting to do better every time.
I am thankful to Aamir sir for believing in me and investing his time and effort
on me," she added.
