Bollywood actor Sooraj Pancholi has decided to open a dance
academy for underprivileged children.
To be launched in Mumbai in March, followed by one in Delhi, Sooraj's dance academy will be accessible to street dancers only. The actor also plans to have branches in a few other cities, read a statement.
"I am very excited and looking forward to this venture. Dance form is an art and it's an expression," Sooraj said in a statement.
"Young talents have all the ability and dream but don't get the right guidance to shape it. I just want to give them a push and explore this," added the son of actor couple Zarina Wahab and Aditya Pancholi.
Sooraj's friends, who are choreographers, will also be helping him with the academy, according to a source.
On the film front, Sooraj, who made his debut with "Hero" in 2015, is busy with his next project -- a comedy to be helmed by Prabhudheva.
