Actress Sridevi is ecstatic that her film "English Vinglish"
has completed five years of its release in Hindi cinema on Thursday.
"Five cheers to 'English Vinglish' Gauri Shinde," she tweeted.
Directed
by Shinde, "English Vinglish" revolves around a housewife and caterer Shashi is
usually mocked by her family for not knowing English. Her attempt to learn the
language helps her rediscover herself and reassert her value as a mother and as
a wife.
Sridevi was last seen in "Mom".
