After playing boy-next-door in most of his films, Aadi Sai
Kumar will be next seen in a yet-untitled Telugu horror-thriller. The project
has already gone on the floors, says a source.
The film marks the directorial debut of the popular television
anchor Prabhakar Podakandla.
'This is a thriller that has elements of horror. Aadi
is excited because it's his maiden stint with the genre and he is very confident
about the film,' a source from the film's unit told IANS.
Marathi actress Vaibhavi Shandilya, popular for working with
actor Santhanam in Tamil films such as 'Server Sundaram' and 'Sakka
Podu Podu Raja', plays the lead lady and it happens to be her Telugu debut.
'After spending weeks on going through profiles of several
heroines, the director felt Vaibhavi fit the bill. He also felt her Bharatanatyam
and Kathak expertise will come in handy for the role. Ten days of shooting have
been already completed,' the source added.
The project is being bankrolled by UV Creations, GA 2 Pictures
and Studio Green - under the banner V4 movies.
