Harish Kalyan happy with new innings

Actor Harish Kalyan, who is making his Telugu acting debut
with the upcoming romantic-drama "Kaadhali", says he is happy with
his journey so far in a new industry and is looking forward to more opportunities.
"Despite the language barrier, I accepted the offer to
expand my horizon. If this film clicks, I can continue working in two industries
which means more opportunities. I'm happy it's been a good start so far,"
Harish told IANS.
Contrary to the roles he has played in Tamil films such as
"Vil Ambu" and "Poriyaalan", he plays a happy-go-lucky guy
in "Kaadhali".
"In Tamil, it has mostly been serious roles. I'm playing
the exact opposite in 'Kaadhali'; a guy who does whatever he feels like. He's
someone with no big dreams but is very optimistic. All that matters to him is
being very optimistic," he said, and added he didn't find picking up the
language difficult.
The film was predominantly shot in Hyderabad, and Harish fell
in love with the place.
"I consider it my second home now. Although I have been
to Hyderabad several times over the years, I didn't stay long enough to like
the place. I can't wait to go back."
Harish doesn't want to keep his focus on one industry and is
very keen on striking a balance between Telugu and Tamil films.
Directed and produced by Pattabhi R. Chilukuri, the film also
stars Sai Ronak and Pooja Doshi.
