For a well-established Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, sharing
screen with Bollywood's King Khan was a 'dream come true'.
Mahira expressed her happiness by joining a press conference
via video conference from Pakistan, to celebrate the worldwide success of Bollywood
blockbuster film 'Raees' on Friday.
The conference was also attented by Shah Rukh along with Ritesh
Sidhwani and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Mumbai.
When asked about her experience of sharing screen space with
the Bollywood's King of Romance, Mahira said it was nothing less than a 'dream
come true moment' for her and she will cherish this all her life.
'I was nervous as hell. Sometimes I use to wish, I should'nt
have been such a big fan that he would come and I'd be scared,' the Pakistani
starlet stated.
Expressing her happiness about the success of the film, the
32-year-old said, 'I wasn't expecting such an amazing response and it surpassed
everything I could imagine for.I am very grateful. As we watch the film, every
character looks so realistic and we all fit in the characters.'
The actress was not part of any promotions of the film due
to the ongoing tensions between the two nations and this is the first time that
the leading lady joined any public event to celebrate the film's success.
