Looks like Madonna's youngest daughter Mercy James is all set to follow in the footsteps of the 'Queen of Pop' who became famous in her career for her agile and energetic performances onstage.
The 58-year-old star and mother of four shared, on social media, a close-up of the smiling 10-year-old with multiple medals slung on, the pink straps revealing they were for gymnastics.
"Mercy James takes home 4 Medals!" she captioned the photo before launching into a stream of emojis.
Pairs of hearts lined up next to each other were followed by laughing faces and party hats and at the end, yet another laughing face.
Shortly after the first photo, the '4 Minutes' singer posted another one of James' picture where the young scion stood on a block next to other child gymnasts, who were also stood on blocks.
Madonna's enthusiasm was undiluted as her caption crowed "Go Mercy James!!! It's all about team Work!"
The pop diva adopted three-year-old Mercy James from Malawi back in June 2009, after her divorce from Guy Ritchie, to whom she had been married from 2000 until 2008. The pair had earlier adopted their son David Banda Ritchie, who was also born in Malawi and who is now 11.
Madonna has two biological children 16-year-old Rocco Ritchie, and 20-year-old Lourdes Maria Leon.
