Director, M A Nishad is now getting ready to release his new movie titled
‘Vairam’ along with a debutant producer N. Shivaravu under the banner NASR
India.
The movie features Tamil actor Pasupathi in a key role
and Suresh Gopi is doing the lead role as a well-known criminal Lawyer who considers his profession as a
social service. Other popular stars such as Jayasuriya, Mukesh and Kalabhavan
Mani do important roles in the movie and the female leads are Samvrutha,
Dhanya and Meera Vasudev. The supporting cast include Thilakan,
Jagathy, Sai Kumar, K.P.A.C Lalitha, Rekha and others.
Cherian Kalpakavady has scripted the dialogue and screen play of the movie
based on a story by the director. This will be an eye opener for all sections of the society says director Nishad.M.A.
Sanjeev Shankar handles the camera for the movie. Jayachandran tunes melody for the lyrics of
Girish punthenchey.
Based on social relevance, it is the story of a father's fight for justice
after his daughter Vairamani (Dhanya) is brutally molested and killed. Pasupathi
plays the role of Sivaraman, an officer in a bank in Kerala. Originally a
Tamilian, he is married to a Malayali girl, Devi (Meera Vasudev). When money and
political power influence the judiciary, Sivaraman (Pasupathy) has no other option
than to track down the culprit on his own.
Annie Jacob (Samvrutha Sunil), an investigative Journalist of a popular
Magazine is on trail of the case, trying to bring up the story which becomes
sensational. Adv. Ravi Varma (Suresh Gopi) takes initiative to reopen the
case. The DYSP of crime branch Thomas Erali (Mukesh) who does not believe
in the usual police tactics, investigates
the case in his unique humorous manner. The Journalist, Advocate
and Police officer together battle to bring out the truth and at last reveals who is who behind the scene. The post production work is almost over and
the movie is expected to be released on July 31st.
