Veteran star Anupam Kher, who missed out on the opportunity to win the Best Supporting Actor nod at the British Academy Television Award (BAFTA TV Awards), said he is honoured to get nominated at the prestigious gala and will wait for another opportunity.
Anupam was nominated for his role as a father in TV series 'The Boy with the Topknot.' The Best Supporting Actor honour was given to Irish actor Brían F. O'Byrne for 'Little Boy Blue'. Besides them, actor Adrian Dunbar and Jimmi Simpson were also in the list for 'Line of Duty' and 'USS Callister (Black Mirror)' respectively.
"Thank you, BAFTA for the Best Supporting Actor nomination for 'The Boy With The TopKnot'. It's a great honour for me, for a Hindi medium educated boy from a small town in India whose father was a clerk in Forest Department. It's a fantastic achievement to be nominated amongst some of the top actors in the world," Anupam said in a video on Twitter.
"Thank you to the Indian film industry for giving me wonderful opportunities... I was not announced the winner among the four nominees this evening, but, nevertheless, I feel humbled and honoured. There's always a next time," he added.

The 2018 British Academy Television Craft Awards took place at the Royal Festival Hall in London on Sunday night.
While Sean Bean was announced as the Best Actor for 'Broken,' the Best Actress trophy was handed to 'Three Girls' star Molly Windsor.
Other big winners of the night were TV show 'Peaky Blinders' for Best Drama Series, 'Three Girls' as Best Mini-Series, 'Murdered for Being Different' for Best Single Drama and 'Casualty' was given the Best Soap and Continuing Drama award.
The Best Supporting Actress title was given to Vanessa Kirby for 'The Crown.'
