Clicks can be bought, don't believe in number games: Sanjay Suri
Mumbai
January 17, 2018
Actor-producer Sanjay Suri, whose next is "My Birthday Song",
says he is not in the rat race of the number game.
Sanjay, who has
produced films like "Sorry Bhai" and "I Am" in the past, says that he is
thankful to all the celebrities who have supported him for "My Birthday Song",
directed by Samir Soni.
He said here: "Our film has been supported by big
personalities of Hindi film industry. Karan Johar launched the poster of the
film and Salman Khan launched trailer of our film, so we are thankful to them
because I am an independent filmmaker, so we don't have those means to reach up
to the audience.
"Apart from that, the audience has given positive
feedback to the trailer of our film. I don't believe in number games. When the
film's trailer gets released, then within half a day, it crosses 5-10 millions
views.
"Clicks can be bought, I don't say everyone does that, but it
exists. If you see Oscar-winning movies, their lifetime views are around 1.2-1.5
millions, but here after the trailer launch, it crosses 10 millions views. So, I
haven't got involved in number games, and in future also I don't have intensions
to do that."
"My Birthday Song" is releasing on Friday.
