Actor Srinivas Avasarla says he didn't have any qualms of playing
a sex addict in upcoming Telugu comedy 'Babu Baga Busy' because he
likes to play roles that stimulate him to push the boundaries.
Slated to release in cinemas on Friday, 'Babu Baga Busy'
is the remake of Hindi adult comedy 'Hunterrr'.
'As an actor, I am constantly on the lookout for challenging
roles. I like to do characters that stimulate the actor in me. This was one
such role. I accepted it because I did not want to conform to certain type of
roles,' Srinivas told IANS.
Directed by Naveen Medaram, the film also stars Mishti Chakraborty,
Tejaswi Madivada and Supriya Aysola.
Talking about the project, he said, 'We have made minor
changes to suit Telugu nativity. If aQueen' was for women, I think this film
will be for men.'
Srinivasa, who is also a successful director, is gearing up
for his third directorial venture.
'Writing and direction takes a lot of time. It should
come from within and you can't force the process. I'm working on the script
of my third film as director,' he added.
